Searching the MATLAB Index | Help Desk |
The MATLAB Help Desk includes a search utility you can use to find entries in the combined index covering the core set of online documentation. Index entries matching the search string you specify are listed in a browser window. You can then click on a hypertext link in an entry to go the corresponding location in the online document.
The utility performs a simple string match on the search term you specify:
plot3 eigenval matrix inversion
ambientlightcolor AmbientLightColor ambientLIGHTcoLOR
fft +Fourier
" to find both
fft and Fourier entries.
After entering your search string, type Return to initiate the search. Allow time for the search to complete.
Use of the index search feature requires a Java-capable web browser.
Note that the Full Documentation Set included in this release in PDF form supports full-text search and retrieval by means of the Adobe Acrobat Search program. If you cannot find something using the MATLAB index search, you may want to try the Acrobat search, which covers the complete set of MATLAB documentation for this release.
