Seven integrated refinery planning
(IRP) instances in MPS format.
These IRP instances result in large LP problems. They are provided in
MPS format. Each of the seven instances correspond to different planning
horizons of
2,
3,
60,
120,
180,
240,
300
days. The largest ones provide very difficult LP problems
for state-of-the-art implementations of simplex, whereas interior-point
perform better. They were developed by Adebayo Alabi. Details about the model,
and its solution can be found in
A. Alabi, and
J. Castro, Dantzig-Wolfe and block coordinate-descent decomposition in
large-scale integrated refinery-planning, Computers and Operations Research,
