Introduction to 18-19 Academic Year (Semester 1) edition:

• During the 2018-19 Academic year, classes are scheduled on Wednesday (Theory) 15-17 h in 6.22 H-classroom, ETSEIB-UPC-Barcelona building. Lab Sessions are scheduled on odd Thursdays from 17 to 19: 2h (biweekly teaching in odd weeks) in H5.3 - ETSEIB-UPC-Barcelona building. The course is a mandatory subject in the Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Transport and Mobility of UPC offered by ETSECCPB and ETSEIB schools at BarcelonaTech - UPC and the Department of Statistics and Operations Research (EIO) as a teaching unit.
• Lídia Montero (lidia.montero@upc.edu) is responsible for the subject as lecturer for Theory sessions and for conducting laboratory sessions. All teaching material is copyrighted. • Dr Montero's Office is located in room 217 of the C5 Bldg. - North Campus - BarcelonaTech - UPC. Opening hours are scheduled after classes, but formal office hours are set by email appointment at any time: check availability according to Dr Montero's time-table.
• This subject does use the ATENEA Digital Campus of the UPC strictly for delivery purposes, otherwise use this Web page (http://www-eio.upc.edu/teaching/adtl/).
• The Partial Assessment is a laboratory test that it is set on Monday, October29th, 15:30 a 16:45 laboratory classroom H5.3. No printed Lecture Notes are allowed during the quiz. Only official reference card to R, RStudio markdown and formulae cribsheets, calculator and statistical tables are allowed. Internet access will be available, emailing and chatting is strictly forbidden. Mobile phones should be switched off.
